Ishara Weerasinghe

I have successfully completed a Master’s degree in Linguistics from the University of Kelaniya, following my Bachelor of Arts degree in English, Translation Methods, and Linguistics from the same university. I currently serve as a Lecturer in English at SLIIT City University, where I am dedicated to enhancing students’ language proficiency and academic writing skills.
I perceive myself as an avid learner with an ardent and goal-driven personality. I am honest, dedicated, and deeply value healthy and positive social interactions. My approach to both personal and professional life is grounded in creativity, optimism, and perseverance. I strive to achieve excellence through hard work, commitment, and a genuine passion for the English language.
